All British troops should be brought home by October - Campbell5.10.02pm GMT Wed 21st Feb 2007 Liberal Democrat Leader Menzies Campbell said: "Announcements of this kind should be made in the first instance to Parliament and should not surface through the media.
"If these reports are true, a reduction in British forces in Iraq is to be welcomed. But I still believe that our presence exacerbates the security situation and we should have a target for the withdrawal of all British troops by the end of October this year."
