Prime Minister must take responsibility for failure in Iraq - Campbell5.00.47pm GMT Wed 2nd May 2007 The Liberal Democrats will today e-mail thousands of campaigners and supporters a YouTube video and photograph showing those responsible for taking the country into the illegal war against Iraq. At Prime Minister's Questions today Liberal Democrat Leader Menzies Campbell called on the Prime Minister to take responsibility for the situation in Iraq. Menzies Campbell said: "Now that the former Secretary of State for Defence has admitted there were serious of errors in planning for post-war Iraq, who takes responsibility for that failure? Menzies Campbell continued: "Isn't it clear where responsibility lies? The President made the decisions, the Prime Minister argued the case, the Chancellor signed the cheques and the Tories voted it through. That is where the responsibility for Iraq is to be found."
