In November last year, the West Midlands Special Needs Transport Charity was forced to withdraw its popular cross boundary service between Birmingham and Solihull in order to offset funding cuts and preserve the 'local' Ring and Ride services within the borough.
Now the charity has announced that it has been able to reduce operating costs and restore the full service from June 3rd.
"I wrote to both the Chief Executive of WMSNT and to CENTRO to press for a new commitment from both parties to work together to reintroduce the cross-border service, and so I am delighted that after some delay they have been able to reinstate the cross boundary trips so valued by many Solihull residents."
