Civil Engineer, Risk Manager, and Solihull Councillor Ade Adeyemo is the candidate who will stand up in Europe for the needs of local residents and businesses, protecting jobs and opportunities for everyone in the West Midlands.
Ade brings with him a wealth of experience. As well as being a Councillor on Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Ade stood as Parliamentary Candidate for the Meriden and Solihull constituencies in 2015 and 2017 respectively.
He is a well-known Activist and Campaigner who has decided to stand for election to the European Parliament because he feels that the people of the West Midlands are crying out for change, for something different – a positive voice – someone who represents their values, their aims and their aspirations in life.
“My professional experience shapes how I approach public service. For me, it is all about achieving that important balance between the needs for investment (in schools, hospitals, houses and businesses) and the needs of the people who live, work and go about their daily lives in special places like the West Midlands."
Ade lives in the West Midlands. He and his family live in Solihull and he is very passionate about our Region, saying, “I entered local government because I care deeply about our Region. I know the West Midlands well because I have lived here for over 22 years. My children all grew up here and this is the place we call home.
