Walsall and Wolverhampton members event

I am looking forward to seeing you at the Wolverhampton and Walsall members event on Saturday 1 June! This page will be updated with any information relating to the day. There are still spaces available so please contact Jennifer if you would like to come (07931 251600)

GTG Training Centre, Bearing Drive, Wolverhampton, WV11 3SQ (Note - it is on an industrial estate close to Willenhall. You will see Tata steel as you drive up towards the venue, which is situated next to Arnold Clark)

Bring

If you are doing the Campaigning/ minivan course, please bring a notepad and paper in case you want to make notes, bring your charged phones and download the minivan app in advance if you can (we will cover this on the day too) and bring a bag in case you have literature to carry.

If you are doing Connect, bring a laptop and charging cable and ensure that you know your Connect login details.

Disabled members

Our venues are always chosen with you in mind. All training and activity is being done on the ground floor, with disabled access toilets available too. If you wish to come canvassing, you will be very welcome, and we will speak with you to work out the best route for you to follow on the day.

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be served on arrival and a sandwich lunch will be given out at midday. There will be a selection of meat and meat free alternatives. I have not been made aware that any vegan/ coeliac e.t.c. members are coming, but we can cater for all! if you have specific dietary requirements, please let Jennifer know in advance.

9.30 - Arrival and tea/ coffee

10.00 - Both training streams begin. Minivan and Campaigning in 1 room and Connect in the other

11.15 - Break

11.30 - Session 2 for both training streams

12.45 - Lunch and group photo

1.15 - Out to canvas/ session 3

2.30 - Break (Connect only)

2.45 - Final connect session begins

4.00 - Day ends
